It was amazing. I’ve always known Jay Park was a great performer, but this is the first time I’ve seen him live. He was so good. He still has a long way to go, seeing as he has just debuted as a solo artist, but you can already see how charismatic he is on stage and how well he connects with the audience. Great job, Jay Park. I’m proud to be your fan!
One of the most adorable songs I’ve ever heard, coupled with a beautiful fantasy-themed music video.
2. Glee – Time Warp
Yes, I’m a Glee fangirl, and I think Quinn’s voice is gorgeous. This is not a very popular song since Rocky Horror isn’t known here in our beautiful country, but this performance is just so insanely fun! It makes me want to get up and dance (although I don’t, for obvious reasons).
3. Pink – So What
Pink may look a little scary at first, but her songs are actually not so bad. I haven’t heard a lot of her songs, but I absolutely love this one.
4. Big Bang – Love Song
Big Bang is one of the longest lasting idol groups in Korea for a reason: they’re always reinventing themselves and getting better and better with each release. This song is far from their hiphop background and is more of a… actually, I have no idea what genre this song belongs to. It’s that good.
5. CNBlue – Love Girl
A rookie to the K-pop scene, CN Blue has carved out a niche for themselves in the K-pop scene. They’re known for fun, upbeat pop-rock songs that will forever get stuck in your head. This song is sugary sweet, and despite the unintentionally creepy video, will leave you with a smile on your face.
BTW, if you haven’t seen X-Men: First Class, the newest X-Men movie, I highly suggest you go see it. Right now. It’s so good. I’ve always loved the concept behind X-Men, because it’s like I’m getting 100 superheroes in one show. Unlike lone superheroes who go around fighting the bad guys all by themselves, the X-Men get their strength not only from their powers but also from working with each other. Plus, more superheroes means more complicated relationships, which lead to good things, right?
